Supervision & Faculty Supervision and Faculty Supervising, mentoring, and advising your academic progress How Does Supervision Work? Each student will be matched to an academic advisor(s), who is a core faculty member in the School of Rehabilitation Therapy (SRT), upon entry into the program. Cross-appointees are not considered core faculty. Matching will be based on student and faculty interests and expertise. Every student must have an advisory committee. Advisory committees will be formed through collaboration and negotiation between the students and the academic advisor(s). The advisory committee must have at least 3 people serving on it. The ultimate objective is to ensure that all advisory committee members provide complementary expertise to guide and mentor the student through the completion of the dissertation work.
