Research:
My research has focused primarily on supporting the health and well-being of adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, as well as family and paid care-partners. I have specific interests in:
- the organization and provision of health services for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, with a specific focus on interprofessional, team-based primary care;
- supporting interprofessional health provider education and practice in relation to working with adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities;
- conducting inclusive research with co-researchers with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and their care-partners to promote health, well-being, participation and inclusive communities;
- health promotion and fostering the mental well-being of people supported and involved in the Developmental Services Sector.
