About
Jordan Miller is an Associate Professor in the School of Rehabilitation Therapy and Member of the Health Services and Policy and Research Institute. He completed a BSc (Kinesiology), MSc (Physiotherapy), and PhD (Rehabilitation Science) at McMaster University followed by a CIHR funded post-doctoral fellowship at McGill University. He joined the School of Rehabilitation Therapy at Queen’s University in 2017. Dr. Miller served as the Associate Director (Physical Therapy) from 2020 to 2023 and is currently supported by a Stars Award (Mid-Career) from The Arthritis Society and CIHR.

Research
Dr. Miller’s research program has two aims:
- Improve pain management for people living with chronic pain
- Advance team-based models of primary care that improve the health of individuals and communities.
Dr. Miller’s research aligns with the following three research themes:
- Development and evaluation of team-based models of primary care
- Development and testing of self-management supports for persons living with pain
- Enhancing education to improve competencies of health professionals for work in primary care and pain management

Dr. Miller is currently accepting graduate students. Funding is available through the Bruce Mitchell Research Program for a student interested in joining the IMPPaCT team for PhD studies focused on research to advance team-based primary care.
