The School of Rehabilitation Therapy is looking forward to welcoming alumni to campus during Queen’s Homecoming, October 14-16th, 2016. A highlight of the weekend will be the School’s 4th Annual Homecoming Brunch hosted at the Donald Gordon Centre on Saturday, October 15th. The Brunch includes the presentation of the Distinguished Alumni Awards.
The School of Rehabilitation Therapy Distinguished Alumni Awards were established in 2013 to recognize one graduate annually from each of the Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science programs. Recipients of the Awards are individuals who have distinguished themselves, at home or abroad, and made a difference to the well-being of others. Among their many accomplishments, recipients of the Award are recognized for providing leadership within their chosen profession; by demonstrating an ongoing commitment to the education of rehabilitation students and graduates; by advancing rehabilitation research; and through a continued involvement with the Queen’s community.
The School is pleased to announce that this year’s Distinguished Alumni Awards
will be presented to the following deserving alumni:
Occupational Therapy: Karin Carmichael – OT Class of 1984
Physical Therapy: Lynne Sinclair – PT Class of 1991
Rehabilitation Science: Monica Maly – RHBS Class of 2000 (MSc) & 2005 (PhD)

Everyone is welcome to attend – all alumni; former faculty and staff; current faculty, staff and students; clinicians, therapists and rehabilitation scientists working in Kingston and the surrounding areas; family and friends.
