The month of February is a time of love and provides an opportunity to tell those in our lives how much they mean to us. The month of February also includes several important days of recognition: International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation on February 6, International Day of Women and Girls in Science on February 11, World day of Social Justice on February 20, and International Mother Language Day on February 21[1].
As a Gold Sponsor of the School of Rehabilitation Therapy’s 50th Anniversary, the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) was invited to write a feature piece for the School’s News Blog. We warmly thank CAOT for the contribution of this article, and for their generous support of the School in its 50th year.
