How is the Program delivered?
Both programs are offered in a blended format, combining short, intensive on-campus sessions (3-5 days) held once or twice a year, depending on the year of study, with online learning. The blended format combines in-person intensives and online components, offering valuable networking and experiences alongside the flexibility of distance learning. Students can choose to enroll as either on-campus or off-campus participants while in the program.
What is Rehabilitation Science?
Rehabilitation Science is the systematic study of disablement within the individual, community, and society. Disablement is conceptualized as overlapping domains of pathophysiology, impairment, functional limitation, societal/environmental limitations, and social participation. Rehabilitation focuses on remediation, compensatory approaches and transformative change to enable individuals to live full and satisfying lives as members of their community.
