Rehabilitation Therapy Student Society President, 2014-2015
Looking back to the last year of the Rehabilitation Therapy Student Society Council, it has been a fun ride full of hard work and new experiences. We have been able to increase the involvement of the council by participating in many events around Queen’s campus. We have developed and maintained relationships with other student run councils/programs including SGPS’s Professional Social Team, which has facilitated many new and fun events students have enjoyed participating in throughout the year. We have also been able to give back to the community by making donations towards QHIP’s National Team Challenge, the Kingston Food Bank, the Child Development Centre/ Hotel Dieu Run as well as the Physiotherapy Foundation of Canada.
This year the Rehabilitation Therapy Student Society has created new social media outlets where we have been able to keep students in the loop about new and exciting events and have celebrated the many successes of our classmates. Feel free to add us on Facebook www.facebook.com/RehabCouncil, or check out our website at www.rehabsociety.ca.
It has been a fun and eventful year full of progress and memories that will never be forgotten. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this year’s council or has come out to our events! As this term comes to an end, we welcome a new council as of May 1, 2015! Cha Gheill!
