About The Program:

Move Authentically Physiotherapy is pleased to offer a unique career opportunity which includes joining a well-established practice and an innovative mentorship program. This program offers one-on-one support that is specifically designed around the needs and goals of the physiotherapist/mentee. This program is designed to help with the steep learning curve of the initial few years of clinical practice. The intention is to provide an open, supportive environment to build on the physiotherapist’s/mentee’s existing skills, and to develop and explore their own philosophy of care.

Meet Your Mentor:

Christine Campbell is a Registered Physiotherapist who has ten years of experience in private practice. Early in her career she felt that there was a lack of formal mentorship within the physiotherapy community and as such has always wanted to fulfill her dream of mentoring younger physios. Whether it is her work life or community life, she strives to be compassionate, open and a person of integrity.

Christine is a clinical instructor with Queen’s University and loves the experience of learning along side her students. She is initiated a pilot project with Queen’s University to complete interviews prior to the student’s placement at Move Authentically. This will provide yet another learning experience for the students involved with Move Authentically.

Christine has thoroughly enjoyed the experience of starting two successful physiotherapy practices, one in Brockville and one in Kingston. She is very grateful that the practice is growing and continually evolving. She respects that no matter where you are in your clinical career or life, there is always more to learn.

Established caseload, with continual growth
Able to utilize “extended” assessment (75-90min) and treatment (30-45min) appointments to provide focused one-on-one care that will cultivate your learning process

Long Term Plan for the Mentorship Program

The vision of this program is to have a team of physiotherapists who seek to help and encourage each other to learn and innovate which results in providing clients the best care possible. This team would be dedicated to mentorship, both with younger grads, and physio students. As clinicians our learning is never complete, and this system will inherently foster continuous learning for all involved.
