About
Randy Booth is an Assistant Professor within the Physical Therapy Program, at Queen’s University. In 1994, he completed a Bachelor of Arts (honours) in Psychology/Health and subsequently a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1998 at Queen’s University. In 2003, he completed a Masters in Manipulative Therapy at Curtin University in Perth Australia. He has been a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy since 2004. In 2012, he completed a doctorate of Physical Therapy in Musculoskeletal Management from the United States and in 2019, he completed his PhD at Queen’s. In addition to supporting clinical education and teaching within the Queen’s University Physical Therapy Program, Randy is an advanced practice physiotherapist with the Rapid Access Clinic for Low Back Pain.

Administrative responsibilities include placement recruitment, allocation, education, and support for students/clinicians regarding student supervision/evaluation.

Works part-time in primary care and as an advanced practice physiotherapist for the Rapid Access Clinic for Low Back Pain.
Research
Research interests are within the field of orthopaedics, in particular, primary care and extended scopes of practice for Physiotherapists.
