My research focuses on understanding the physical demands associated with mobility. My current work is directed toward understanding and quantifying the minimum neuromuscular, metabolic, and biomechanical requirements for specific physical tasks in healthy aging and following stroke.

My teaching is primarily in the field of motor / movement control.
