Job Description:

Function First is a small, private physical rehabilitation clinic currently offering physiotherapy and registered massage therapy, located in busy North-West London, ON. The clinic is managed and operated by a registered physiotherapist and registered massage therapist.

We are looking for a motivated registered physiotherapist to join our team. Start date anytime between November 1 and December 1st, 2021. The position is part-time, with the ability to expand to full-time hours, or remain part-time if desired. Ability to work at least one evening a week is an asset. Hours can be completely clinical or there is the option for a hybrid model of care for virtual therapy as well. Majority of caseload will be private pay/extended health clients. This is a permanent contract for a commissioned independent contractor on a competitive split. There is opportunity to expand entrepreneurial skills through marketing and networking opportunities in the community as well. Client care is one on one in a comfortable clinic environment with a supportive team of clinicians.

We have potential roles for both an orthopaedic physiotherapist and a pelvic health physiotherapist available.

Registered with the Ontario College of Physiotherapists and in good standing
Seeking job satisfaction working as part of a team with an emphasis on evidence-based and client-centered approach to care, creating individualized treatment plans emphasizing progress towards client’s functional goals
Relationship-centered practitioner who values the therapeutic alliance
A self-starter with a desire to excel, motivated to commit to ongoing education, and building a sustainable caseload
Previous experience working with MVA and WSIB clients is an asset
Any level of MDT (McKenzie) training is an asset
Additional training in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy is an asset
