Department: Medicine / CCC / Rehabilitation / Outpatients/ Pulmonary and Cardiac Rehabilitation
Hours of Work: All Shifts
Must be available 2 out of 4 Weekends/Month and up to 24 hours a week

Required Qualifications:
- MSc PT or equivalent from an accredited Canadian Physiotherapy Program
- Licensed with or eligible for licensure with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Good understanding of Quality Improvement
- Good work and disciplinary record
- Good attendance record
- Bilingual English and French; Level 1+ proficiency in French - to be tested

Specific Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Manager of Rehabilitation, the Physiotherapist is part of the therapy team providing services to patients admitted in the Rehabilitation Programs, including; Out-patient, Pulmonary Rehab, Medicine and the Geriatric & Stroke Rehabilitation Programs of the hospital.
- Responsibilities involve assessing, treating, educating and managing patients requiring physiotherapy services including consulting with the patient's physician and/or other members of the health care team.
- The Physiotherapist is involved in the education of patients and/or family members, students and interns and other health care workers, and the general public with regard to physiotherapy and the management of the patient's health problems.

Salary: As per Collective Agreement

Physiotherapist wanted for manual therapy and active treatment oriented Physiotherapy Clinic at  Physiogenix / Hydrathletics (Kingston).

Physiogenix is a division of Movewell Inc providing clinical services off-site from its main office located in Gananoque.

We are currently seeking a physiotherapist with a keen interest in Orthopedics to join our busy Physiotherapy services which are provided through a contract with Hydrathletics Inc., Kingston. Hydrathletics is a specialized rehabilitation centre offering advanced aquatic therapy utilizing HydroWorx pools with underwater treadmills and other specialized rehabilitation tools.

The position is currently part time 2-3 full days per week but could evolve into a full-time position if the hired party is interested.  The individual hired can be through contract or by employee status.

The candidate should be a motivated, forward thinking Physiotherapists with skills in objective assessment and in the provision of manual. Our staff currently consists of manual physiotherapists (FCAMPT), Athletic Therapists, Kinesiologists, and RMTs. The clinic is fast-paced, yet the vibe is still relaxed providing an opportunity to exchange ideas/learn and work as a team player with other therapists.

Candidates must be English speaking and have a current registration in good standing with the College.
