PT for Inpatient in Yuma, AZ - Offering mentorship for new grads

Inpatient 51 bed acute inpatient rehab hospital that is stroke and hip fracture certified through the Joint Commission.

We have an experienced staff that new grads can learn from.

Diagnoses include CVA, TBI, PD, amputee, hip fractures, COPD, cardiac, etc. Our friendly therapists have a wide range of experience and are teamwork oriented. The majority of our population is adult/geriatric with a variety of neurological and orthopedic diagnoses.

Starting salary is $74,000 for a new grad and goes up with experience, sign on bonus is $10,000 paid after 90 days of employment, and student loan reimbursement is $10,000 for outstanding student loans can be applied for. Employees can apply for another 10K for student loans at the end of their 2-year commitment.

We also offer up to $2,500 per year of reimbursement for CEU's. Plus we reimburse for license application/renewal.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of a recognized school of Physiotherapy. 
  • Active, unrestricted license to practice with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. 
  • Experience in specified area of practice preferred.  
  • Experience in instructing students an asset.
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, basic “Heart Saver” level.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Excellent communication skills and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based and best practice and ongoing professional development.
  • Ability to perform an initial assessment of each patient, to plan and treat with consideration of the referring physician’s advice regarding contract-indications and treatment records.

  • Proven ability to attend work regularly.
  • Satisfactory criminal reference check required.

PT for Dothan, AL – 70 miles to Gulf Beaches and offering mentorship to new grads

We are a stroke center of rehab excellence inpatient rehabilitation hospital with 39 beds and we are in the process of expanding and building on to include 16 more beds and expanding our gym. We are growing and doing great!

In addition to caring for general rehabilitation diagnoses such as hip fractures, pulmonary, cardiac, generalized debilities, orthopedic, trauma, amputations, and neurological disorders, we offer a stroke specialized inpatient program and also treat brain and spinal cord injuries.  Other services offered include outpatient rehabilitation services. 

Current employee count is 162 and about 125 are full time. We currently have 4 full time PTs and 6 PTAs. We also have 3 full time OTs and 4 OTAs. Also, we have techs to assist in the gym as well. Our facility normally always stays at a full census so we are always busy.

Our Director of Therapy has been with us for over 18 years and our Manager of Therapy has been with us for over 10 years and they can provide great insight and experience to new grads and experienced Physical Therapists.

New grad PTs are welcome and we can provide great mentoring.

Salary is competitive at $66,000 to start.
